Great photos capture an emotion or tell a story. Try to take photos that convey such moments and perspectives to the reader.

Take pictures of products in use.

Show us the product, not the box it came in. This can help someone imagine how the product would fit into their own lives.

Clear the clutter!

Busy backgrounds can be distracting and make it hard to know what you’re highlighting.

Natural light enhances quality.

Aim to take your photos during the day when natural light makes everything (and everyone) look their best. Be sure to position yourself between the window and the product to avoid shadows.

High resolution is key.

Be sure to save the photo in the highest resolution possible.

Framing.

Our brand partners love to highlight the amazing content Stellar panelists submit, but they aren't able to use anything that shows other brand logos.  Aim to keep those out of the frame.
